Cellarhouse || that was Stream/Download
Pushing the boundaries of dark electronica, the enigmatic UK outfit CellarHouse has officially released their latest studio album, That Was. Following the groundbreaking innovation of their previous work, That Was serves as a definitive journey into the heart of downtempo, blending deep house textures with cinematic grandeur and high-concept electronic production.
This electric trio release their first track across the Bandcamp universe. A perfect slice of funky R&B, with a deep dark groove. Looking forward to the reaction
Killian Wright continues to deliver tracks that evoke style, panache and that old school orchestral brilliance. Fused with Electronica, his latest release Gun Barrel is a must-listen.
90's Industrial gods Devoid are back. Rechristened as Devoid of Hate, they follow on from their landmark 1993 album Songs Of Mass Destruction with this self-titled masterpiece. Not for the faint-hearted.
We now have the definitive release from Cellarhouse with their That Was... album. A steady departure from concept album's of the past, this is a true journey into dark-electro downtempo territory
Every year, during Record Store Day, we'll be partnering with selected retail outlets across Europe to offer our signed Vinyl pressings. Stay across our artists' socials for more information and add yourself to our mailing list for exclusive offers & invitations.
True Blockhouse is a sonic laboratory and underground collective dedicated to the fusion of avant-garde electronic music, symphonic orchestration, and future technology. Inspired by the former innovative 1990s East London studio: Blockhouse, the label stands today as a defiantly independent platform for boundary-pushing sound.
Our Mission To disrupt the predictable. We exist to champion the unconventional, providing a home for artists who blur the lines between dark electronica, industrial grit, and cinematic grandeur. We view technology not as a replacement for human creativity, but as a vital partner in its expansion.
True Blockhouse is proud to stay true to its heritage, and remains a cooperative enterprise where any returns made on releases are shared on an equal basis with all artists. So far, we have had 29 releases, including eight albums and five EP's. Killian Wright's album: No Country For Old Men picked up great reviews from magazines such as Electronic Sound and this year we're proud to represent his new album, due March '26
Unfortunately we do not accept any commissions, (full-time careers elsewhere) preferring instead to remain an underground collective who specialise in Dark Electro, House, Innovative Orchestral and Hybrid Digital productions. All releases can be found across all the major music platforms via our distribution partners at Cygnus Music.
We do not subscribe to social media (all our news will be published here - occasionally) But our artists might. So if you've found us, and like our unique sound - share the experience. Thank you. (KW)
